A unique patent-protected series of coins and medals entitled Treasures of the Holyland is currently in the planning and design stage. What is unique about these coins and medals is their central see through capsule which will contain actual soil from the sacred and historical sites in the Holyland.
The soil contained in the coins and medals will be documented as to time and place of gathering by local religious and state officials. The Mint will then issue a Certificate of Origination and Authenticity for every coin or medal issued.
The actual coins and medals and packaging will allow for Crystal Cathedral Ministries to customize the project for their own use. The Mint would welcome suggestions at this stage regarding soil locations and wording to go on to the coins and their packaging.
Millions of people, who previously could only dream about visiting the Holyland, will now be able to hold a love gift in their very own hands, containing an actual bit of the ground that Jesus visited. Sermons and entire year long lessons could be built around this monthly coin program.
